Ardîne Filmproduktion GmbH is an independent, internationally active film production company based in Basel. It was founded in 2017 by Tunje Berns and Sarah Derendinger

and takes its name from the Ardîne harp — a traditional instrument played exclusively by women.

Ardîne develops and produces distinctive forms of film art, including arthouse feature films, creative documentaries, television series and video art. Our work combines artistic ambition with social relevance, insight and accessibility. At its core is a commitment to diversity and inclusion, with a particular focus on strengthening female perspectives.
