An opera team puts the power of Wagner's cursed ring to the test.

I'm taking you behind the scenes of the Opéra de Paris for two years, where the opera director Calixto Bieito and we, his directing team, are facing the ultimate challenge. Our sixteen-hour Ring will be a radically contemporary work of art that begins with nothing less than the Big Bang and - after the power- and money-obsessed ring-wearing family has heartlessly dragged the world into the abyss - ends in the virtual apocalypse. In the Paris Opera, which is heavily in debt to the tune of 170 million due to Corona, the curse of the Ring threatens to be passed on to us, the team. We are being asked to give our all so that we don't have to renounce love like our protagonists and sacrifice our ten-year friendship for fame and honor.
