Ardîne Filmproduktion GmbH is an independent film production company based in Basel and working internationally. Founded in 2017 by Tunje Berns and Sarah Derendinger,

 it takes its name from the Ardîne harp — a traditional instrument reserved for women.

 

Ardîne creates films and moving-image works that seek their own form: arthouse feature films, creative documentaries, television series and video art. Its productions combine artistic depth with social resonance, and are shaped by a belief that cinema can be both insightful and accessible. At the heart of Ardîne lies a commitment to diversity, inclusion and the strength of female perspectives.
